Major's Midnight Coins has taken the State Fair of Texas 2 year old Futurity Championship.  He also took the 2 year old NTASHA championship, and was high point 2 year old stallion.  After much thought we decided to put him in the lite shod ranks, and he is as smooth and wonderful, flat shod as he was padded.  He is a gelding now so that he can be shown in the youth classes and the adult classes.

Major's Midnight Coins

Coin's Lady Love was not due for another 10 days so we didn't have her in the stall with the camera, so I had a pleasant surprise that morning when I went out to feed.  This pretty gelding is out of a Pride's Gold coin mare by Gen's Major General.  He has a pretty little stripe that is off center.  He is a 3 year old in the picture above.  He will make his show debut in September at the State fair of Texas show as a performance 2 year old.

Major is doing great in the show ring.  As a 2 year old he took the futurities in the Southwest and Houston.  He is just getting better and better.  He was in the December Voice Magazine on page 51 and the November issue.  Look for great things from this 2004 three year old gelding.

Major in his new flat shod shoes. Ginny Chapman is up. He looks like he has the talent and beauty to do well in the plantation pleasure lite shod class.  We will start his flat shod career April 17th in a NWHA show, then on to Big D, in May.

Major's Midnight Coins made a good showing against a large group of horses in the Young Park Pleasure classes at the 2004 Big "D" Charity Horse Show - he got a 3rd in the Championship.

Major's Midnight Coins has won The State Fair of Texas Horse Show Lite Shod 3 And Under and 4 and Under Championship, the 3 year old Futurity Championship, the Lite Shod No Canter Reserve Championship and the Reserve Lite Shod Championship.

He has been sold to a wonderful young lady that will be campaigning him in the Youth Lite Shod Division.

Major Midnight Coins received the 2004 SWHBA High Point Trail Pleasure Reserve Championship for his new owners.
